Commercial scenting vs. aerosols, plug-ins and candles
Many businesses start with sprays, plug-ins or candles. Here is how professional scent diffusion compares, so you can decide what fits your space.
Aerosol sprays and metered sprayers
Sprays release scent in bursts, so it is strong right after a spray and fades in between. They are inexpensive and common in restrooms. Cold-air diffusion releases a fine, steady mist on a schedule for more even coverage.
Plug-ins and gel air fresheners
Plug-ins cover a small area near the outlet and need frequent replacement by staff. A commercial diffuser covers a larger area from one unit and is refilled by our technicians.
Candles and wax warmers
Candles involve an open flame and are often not allowed in commercial buildings. Diffusers use no heat or flame.

FAQ
Common questions
Does scenting replace cleaning or ventilation?+
No. Scenting and odor control work alongside regular cleaning, proper ventilation and any needed repairs or remediation. They don't replace them.
Can we keep our current restroom service?+
Yes. Many businesses keep an existing hygiene or janitorial provider and add scenting for lobbies and common areas.
Is professional scenting more expensive?+
It depends on your space. Request a free walkthrough for a quote.
